I can't open the link at the minute so sorry if it has changed, but I saw this a good few months ago and I can not for the life of me understand why anyone would do it.
CAE oversee the Ryanair stuff, and there are enough opinions about that on here in itself, but at least you are more or less guaranteed employment by the time it comes to paying them anything (aside from the assessment fee whatever it is, like 300 euros or something I think?).
With the flydubai scheme, what you are doing is completely self sponsoring a type rating with no guarantee of a job, simply to QUALIFY for an ASSESSMENT to MAYBE get a job.
If you want a 737 rating and you want to pay for it yourself, there are plenty of places that will offer the course for I am sure about a third of what CAE will charge for it, and you will be only at a very very slight disadvantage to doing this scheme.
To sum it up really, you are paying likely €30k+ as an assessment fee.
