Just shows he hadn't tried any of the other "large" phones, or he'd have known. If I buy an iPhone 6 (a very big "if"), it will be the standard size.
My 4S does all I need at the moment, including checking WiFi channel numbers when setting up local folks' systems to avoid channel clashes. (It has to be jailbroken to do that since a couple of years ago, when Apple decided users mustn't be allowed to see which channel a WiFi is on). It's known that I'm the "bloke in the village" who can do that, so I get plenty of cups of coffee, biscuits, and 5 minuteses with routers. Oh, and bottles of wine.
