To hold an AOC, doesn't the company need to have passenger liability insurance themselves?


I think what Clause 9 is saying is that if there is a claim against them, lets say a crash, the pax could sue the pilot and the company separately. Most companies cover the crew being sued rather than leaving them to their own devices: "any action taken against the pilot is taken to be an action against the company" or something along those lines?
