Smile Initial again or not?

Hi all!

I am going to study in the uk the atpl , cpl/Ir /mcc very soon , I`m already holder of a first class medical certificate issued by an easa country,

does anyone of you guys know if it is necessary to pass an initial medical certificate again in Gatwick?

would be enough if I transfer my medical file to the uk caa ( " soli process")?

I Donīt know if it is mandatory to have passed an initial in the country in which my future licences are going to be issued.

But in the other hand an easa licence is supposed to be valid in every country which belongs to easa.

Furthermore I have been doing the PPL this year in a different country of the one where I did my medical and there was no problem at all.

could someone provide any idea?

thanks in advance!

Cheers
