Does anyone know what any of these trials were about (Dad's nav log book)?

Sycamore: 312
Sunderland: 300
Neptune: 317, 351
Shackleton 1: 303, 309, 310, 311, 314, 322, 325, 328, 343, 349

Shackleton 1: 397
