Hi,
Have you thought of maintenance installing the steering cables incorrectly?
No!
An engine failure is unlikely to be the cause for a loss of control or for a pitch down event.
Look to this model:
1) Unstab app (NDB and using MDA instead of VDP concept)
2) Go around with eng #1 failing (Water or etc.)
3) Out of ECHO1 MAP. A fact (lower and smaller radius left turn)
4) High bank left and corresponding pitch down (Abnormal attitude onset)
5) Over correction (pitch up and RH veering) (LOC onset)
6) Wing stall and subsequent eng #2 stall (Loud bangs and brief fire reported)
7) Pitch down "departing" XLS+ envelope
8) Aerodynamic shadow to STAB/ELEV (No pitch up observed despite high speed)
9) Aileron command (A fact)
10) High energy impact (pitch down in excess of 60 degrees)

The model was constructed after factual information and "connecting assumptions".
