FMS AND CRUISE ALTITUDE FOR AIRBUS

Hi everyone,
I had this small question: If for example we enter FL360 as our Cruise level but we manually change an altitude of xxxx waypoint at FL380, will It automatically change our cruise altitude?

2) If we enter a step climb in one of or climb waypoints over our cruise altitude (of course, not realistic) will it also automatically change our cruise altitude?

In both case the waypoint xxxxx is TOC and TOD so Speed controlled By thrust (to shallow)
