Hero is a much abused term these days, but there is no doubt that these two deserve that title.
I haven't flown Cathay in nearly 20 years (1996) - although I was quite impressed when I did. Business class - transferred from Northwest to Cathay in Hong Kong - I got more attention on Cathay before
takeoff than I got on the ~12 hour Northwest flight from Seattle .
Very sad to see a great airline sink to the point that it's own employees disagree when it gets voted #1.
