I've been reading this forum recently. I see a lot of impatience and uncertainty here - it's normal. If we did not care, we would not even come and post our ' thoughts'. All of us have gone through this difficult way, which is becoming a pilot. Now, an even harder part came to find a job, but we will eventually
let's be understanding to each other, not offending anyone. If we offend, let's apologise- everybody gets things out of hand sometimes.
I work in airlines, as a cabin crew, did my training, and am also looking around. It's been eight years now in this industry. Even my airline has some dubious ways of selecting people, raising requirements etc...it is not all easy!
Some, in fact, did get a job straight after the school, but most guys have followed a long. And equally interesting way before they felt mature enough to become airline pilots.
Airlines is not everything. It is nice to be part of this company, but we should be more imaginative about our lives.
My status: 215 hrs, freshly after trainings, applied to NAS, did the tests now waiting like everyone.
