In 2008 at the Royal Aeronautical Society Alan Joyce spoke about the Frequent Flyer Program and said all the profits should be allocated to Qantas Airways. It was quite obvious that without an Airline a FF Program is worth nothing! Mind you he NEVER said this ever again, was fully briefed not to mention this again as it was not according to the PLAN. Air Canada was a great example, did not not work well. When queried and discussed in the United States the comment was "Hey over here a FF Program is a liability not an asset!". As far as Terry McCann he has no idea and his whole article was an embarrassment.
