A note for those who have not been to Rabaul:
Rabaul Harbour is an extinct volcano, "The Beehives" being the old core. The Harbour has active volcanos around the rim.
One day I'm sure, we will see the "Big Bang" as occurred at Mount Lamington in January 1951.
Going to Rabaul at present may not be considered a rational, sane decision!
