I thought episode one was an excellent well balanced aviation programme which showed the high quality of several of the individuals involved with the flying.
So nice to have a programme that was not just a vehicle for a presenter.
Not a bad watch, but very over hyped at times.
There's certainly a lot of journalistic licence been used in the making of the show. I would take a lot of what the narrator says with a grain of salt.
Mind you, I wouldn't want to have to travel in a single-engined job over the Papua terrain, even if it's a newish Pilatus Porter.
It's not a lot different (the hills may be higher and there's more of them in PNG) to many parts of New Zealand where single engine aircraft go every day.
