They are forecasting a pre tax profit of around $400M for next year. QF might be better running a travel agency, no wait a minute, they failed on that also and closed all of them.
I am convinced that is (with the exception of routes even they can't ruin like SYD-LAX) EXACTLY what they are doing.
Their attitude is 'How good is this!! We sell Qf tickets, but put the pax on EK (etc etc etc etc) and don't have to worry about our own incompetence - we still get paid for it!'
Of course, once you give away the pax you don't get them back, but we aren't talking about people with any competence in anything whatsoever.
