Boe787... The 787 is not a suitable QF trunk route long haul aircraft. That means that it is not optimised for the bread and butter routes that Qantas International still seeks to service. The 787 seems to be a fantastic plane for its role, but the 330 already covers very well the routes in this hemisphere.
The 380 is delightful to pax on, but I would not want to have to pay the difference in fares to offset the higher seat/km costs that the pundits insist is the case.
