I have lost track of how many times those who have recieved "PFO" emails from Air Canada have predicted the demise of "Big Red", but you know what? they are still here and will be many years hence, the only time they came close to failing was when the Federal Government forced them to take over what was already a failed operator .The threat being that the Feds would give all the overseas work to failed outfit, they had no choice but go into CCRA, but some Western MPs kept their jobs! Without "Big Red" setting the pay and conditions the rest of the industry would be like the US comuter situation, , unfortunately Sky Regional might be the thin end of the wedge along with Rouge, lets hope not, or the job wont be worth doing in the future.
