Nomad Nadzab
Was that the Defence Nomad that after the crunch, got shifted to LAE and put into the Hangar. Someone then triggered the ELB. The result was Air Nuigini and Talair etc doing wide orbits out as far as Kerema trying to locate the downed aircraft.
The signal was , supposedly, radiating off the hangar walls and going out past Goroka. Lots of time taking notes on lost and found signal.
Never actually heard who found the ELT in the wreck but suddenly it stopped.
