Well, I don't think they can afford to only accept type rated guys who are recent. There must be very few of them about looking for jobs. I am rated and current, but the salary is not exactly competitive I feel, so I am off to somewhere else. Jet2 had quite a few problems getting the rated people, let alone current ones!!
