Cactusjack, in no place in those 2 articles does it say that the council is now the major sponsor, nor does it say Skytrans is no longer a sponsor.
Cairns Regional Council today announced it would extend its sponsorship of the Skytrans Cairns Taipans for five years.
That to me says Skytrans is the major sponsor considering they are part of the name of the club.
