Mechanic or Engineer......What difference does a title make?!
...A lot depends on what country you are working in!
Those of us in the industry fully know what an A License holder can and can't do!!
...At the end of the day they hold a license and therefore are not unlicensed personnel....which is what the original question was asking.
The title "engineer" was dropped from UK issued licenses (including B1's) when EASA Part 66 licenses started being issued.
