Malaysia Airlines to be privatised after plane disasters

Last Friday, 8 August 2014, Malaysia Airlines received a letter from our majority shareholder, Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the strategic investment fund of the Government of Malaysia, on its intention to take full ownership of our Company and delist it from trading on Bursa Malaysia (the Malaysian stock exchange). The process will take several months to complete; most likely till the end of the year.

We wish to assure our Enrich members and customers that Malaysia Airlines' flights, schedules and reservations will operate as planned. Our partnerships and all benefits and rewards of being part of oneworld will continue as well.
