I haven't done these tests, they were different before, however, it seems that a "high score" is not the priority for pilots . . . as a breed, we tend to fall into the high average bracket, indeed achieving max points may be a demerit
broadly speaking, what you say has some merit, I believe they are still looking at "the person" as closely as the test results. . .well, I got in. . . so keep hope
