Rolls Royce book is excellent.
If you have a couple of classmates, devote half a day and go through the first 70 odd pages disecting each and every sentence and asking each other questions about it. Why? so what if...? etc.
I did it with 2 others and have nary forgotten anything 8 years later and I dont fly jets.
