Is the 321 not a bit tight for bhd? How can the 320, 321, american af 757 all operate out of here yet ryanairs 737s needed to leave with a load of empty seats?
Waldo,

The ex-BMI 321s operated out of BHD before, while in their old colours. They had some modification made to the brakes (I think something in software rather than any physical changes), but then operated quite happily. And as you say, a certain shiny blue and silver 757 made a brief visit last year, courtesy of Mrs Obama.

I had heard that FR 738s were 'derated'...again, a software modification supposedly giving them the lowest of a number of possible engine ratings. But not sure if that was reliable information or not. If it was, then there would certainly have been a performance hit.
