I can just see the tip of a bullet coyly peeping out in the upper picture. Surely your armourers could've put the thing in a vice, put some padding round the breech, and given the ramrod a good whack with a hammer. After all, what could they lose ?

(To reach 3k = 51 mos. From 3k to 6k = 23 mos)....D.
