If u think Koreans are dogs, than the Vietnamese are dogs that were eating bananas 3 times a day as main meal only a few years back... Now driving B767.... N God forbid B777!!!!!
FAA was there in 1997 and told them they will be back in 2002, dunno what happened last year.
Some expats on direct contract even got a reduction in their salaries last year.
Even thinking about VNA makes me puke...
In 1998 VNA B767 chief pilot ordered his pilots to maintain 200 fpm during flare - qiute a few of the poor sods were actually looking down and trying to do a "manual instrument landing" if I could coin a new aviation bull**** word...
And to pack it all up there is this funny story about why the Americans lost d war - "lack of communication"...
