if your light user ie Pilot that occasionally prints B&W manuals and wx etc
A wireless mono laser will suit your needs down to the ground. If you need anything colour just go to a print shop with a USB stick.
I was going to get a photo printer until I looked at it a bit. Discovered you can just send the printers the photo's via a dropbox account and they appear then next day in the post and it costs buttons and if you like one and want it blown up and the exposure increased or decreased email and again it appears.
I now get 20% discount because I gave them permission to use 3 of my photo's in their shop. And if they sell a print they put 20 quid on my account. So to be honest I haven't actually paid for printing in 6 months.
