They will survive, look at other airlines like 'Lion Air', they regularly crash aircraft and are still going strong. I think most people will realise that the crash of MH017 was totally outside of the control of Malaysian Airlines. They were one of MANY airlines using that piece of airspace (which was open for use) and some ******** on the ground randomly shot them out of the sky. I would still fly with them.
Not sure if MH will survive, but I agree with you wholeheartedly that the blame should be on those who shot down the plane. No matter what, there should be no excuse, ever, to shoot down a civilian aircraft.
