The worst that this intrepid (and apparently sneaky) young photog would be looking at under Ohio law would be misdemeanor trespass.
Even that would be a stretch, since he wasn't apprehended on the property and under American law the photographs cannot speak for themselves.
They must be supported with testimony and I doubt that any prosecutor is going to go to very much trouble to find someone to testify that the photos could only have been taken from vantage points to which the photographer had been denied entry.
OTOH, people have been shot to death in rural Ohio as a result of being where they weren't supposed to be, so maybe the young man should count himself lucky.
I've lived in the state all of my life and there are areas both rural and urban in which I wouldn't go poking around uninvited.
