I have just bought a MX725 in the UK, I think the same as the MX726 in Australia. It is similar to the MX925/926 but does not have CD/DVD printing so works out a little cheaper.
All the comments above are valid re cost etc but this was dirt cheap at £90 and for the amount that I use it then it is not a problem as I am not replacing inks on a regular basis. It does not take up a lot of desk space and is easy to use; it also airprints from iPad and iPhone etc. It is a little slow to start but then print speeds are fine, The duplex scanning to PDF tends to get used more than the printing and I have not set up the faxing; the wifi set up is a doddle.
Overall I can recommend it for occasional use; if you are doing a lot of printing then the comments above need consideration.
