I guess it depends on how much printing you need to do. If it's the occasional document from a computer, some copying now and again and the odd bit of scanning, then a cheap-as-chips Canon wireless printer is probably sufficient.
I found the MG3200 sufficient for my needs; the later model MG3560 is available in Oz from as little as AU$55 at Dick Smith.
