Well it certainly was. Just called up to CVT for a beer and to blow away the cobwebs on the old pushbike...It's about 7 miles each way, and was well worth it tonight.
The airfield was so peaceful, interrupted only by a nice Bolkow Junior taxiing in and an Electra being towed into the hangar.
I haven't been flying much recently, and just getting back around aeroplanes brings it all right back.
To top it off a hot air balloon appeared south of the field and it's burners shone out like a lighthouse...Never thought the Midlands could look so good
Anyone get flying this evening? Was it you in the balloon!?
If only it wasn't so expensive!
