Heightened security at U.S airports (and overseas?)

I was referring more to the acceptance, by passengers, of being stopped, questioned and baggage searches yet nobody says this is rascist or discriminatory.
Similar actions to passengers at security should be accepted just as it is, in effect, at customs.
