ALARP still applies to societal risks, though, and I'm unconvinced that even the spectre of a Mil-CAT collision is enough to tip the scales of reasonability and practicality for installation of CWS to Typhoon and F-35. Even a podded solution would be likely to fall foul of the unbelievable timescales involved in systems integration on those platforms.
