I have to relate that, for the first time ever, I declined a flight out of LCY on the basis of it being too expensive. Well used to the fare levels from there, they seem to have climbed well upwards recently, and £488 return on a domestic flight to Glasgow on BA (economy) was just a fare too far to even suggest to the client who was paying. Easyjet, similar times from Stansted, was well under half that. I suppose the only upside of being able to garner such high prices, if the demand is there, is that it will help out Cityjet from their finances.
