It did cross my mind. I do think FR are in a very good position this winter to start GLA and EDI routes to STN given EZY's ever weaker position at STN.
EZY will be down to just 12 weekly on STN - GLA this winter, FR could quite easily take the majority on this route overnight if they wanted.
I say that as it would seem EZY wouldn't be the slightest bit interested in increasing flights at STN... or GLA come to think of it.
