Just got the email from OAA about the rejection. However they did mention in the email that I can take a retake some elements of the COMPASS as the results were competitive to join the APPFO selection.
Does anyone know whether this email is a generic one or not? Basically I don't want to waste money into retake the tests and know that it's already a lost cause haha
Generic I believe. Either your results as they stand are good enough for APPFO or not. They already know that and re-doing the tests is unlikely to dramatically alter the outcome. But it is a good money maker. As you age increases your scores will increase up to the age of aprox 30, plateau then start to fall off. All of this is known to OAA, but few aspiring Pilots realise this.
Simply ask them are the scores that they have on record good enough or not. Should you wish to see them and they withhold the info submit a 'Subject Access Request'.
