Hi guys, ive been lurking around these threads for the past 4 years haha. Im still studying civil engineering but i still plan to pursue flying after my degree if the aviation industry will be doing well. I would just like to know if aspiring PalAv cadets need connections to be assured a slot. Are any chances for an ordinary applicant lower if he/she does not know anyone inside? Ive met a pilot from PAL, and my parents know a former classmate who is in Pal management and their sons are pilots for PAL now. Its quite discouraging to think that only connected people have high chances of passing. Can anyone please shed some light on this one?
