I did take CityJet to Dublin a couple of weeks ago, and wrote on that carrier's PPRuNe thread how the fare was substantially the highest I have paid in many years of being a regular on the route, despite which they have just given up the full bar service, confining this to business class only (which notably had just one occupant in both directions).
Not really the way to meet new competition. Do CityJet's new owners have a clue, and is this part of what BA are moving in against ?
