G-CIVO operating BA209 London Heathrow – Miami was to the west of Ireland this afternoon when it turned back to London Heathrow due to a technical issue. Crew initially elected to divert to Shannon before deciding to return to London Heathrow. Passengers were accommodated overnight and the flight rescheduled for tomorrow.
