As I pointed out on the Aberdeen thread there isn't a lot of business traffic to Aberdeen from the City or Canary Wharf
banks etc deal with head offices and there are few of those in Aberdeen
Shell, BP, Total, Statoil etc are all HQ'd elsewhere and since Dana were bought out by KNOC the big finances are handled in Seoul
Wood Group are the only significant company I can think of.......
The other major employers are local Govt, education & health - none of which generates a lot of interest from the Masters of the Universe
