presumably if you get an FAA IR with a view to saving some cash on the EASA IR then it would make sense to get a suitable type rating as well e.g. EC135. Would you be required to just do a skills test to get it added to your EASA licence (assuming you already hold an EASA CPL with 70 hours PIC and all of your ATPL exams in the bank) or would it be more involved?
