That's what it's all about, minimal back-up (hence minimal costs) & maximum opportunity to rape the public with more costs
On the world playing field we Aussies must look like amateurs when it comes to anything aviation especially infrastructure!
Imagine if the Airlines here did an '89' stunt, would never happen obviously as they hate each other but boy would that force our pathetic Govt to act for the WHOLE of Australia not just a 'noisy' group which essentially hold this country back with a stunted growth potential.
