Which really means that you, the customer, were demanding the service be delivered at a certain price point and in order to achieve that, the cruise company is forced to drive labor costs down.
YOU, meaning US, are the reason for the problems that prevail in high cost western countries. You want the service and will pay the low ticket price and then lament the drive towards lower wages within your own industry!
We are all guilty and rather hypocritical.
