Here pilots don't have airport standby, although it is apparently being reconsidered. Cabin crew get an allowance for airport standby.
Home standby is a max of eight hours if not called, there is no additional duty pay. We have two hours to report. All standby hours are counted as duty hours in full.
The above seems fair enough to me as the majority of our pay is our basic salary.
