Integral fuel tanks seem a regular culprit. My worst were Nimrod wing tanks, with Zoot-suit, air supply, terrible lighting and..fuel!
. How did we get away with it? The only bit that was ever dry was the area where you had cut away all the PRC and prepared for the new sealant.
