Neil and Dick were the sqn bosses then and I flew many sorties with both of them - mostly mud moving (one of the few perks of being stn nav, SFSO, SIntO and all the other SLJs the pilots didn't want). I even managed not to upset the single-seat staish who was a great navigator fan
(and his successor). Didn't much care for all that aerial ballet though, going round and round in high energy circles over the water (epecially after my first one such with Dick Fallis - it's his real name folks - when I acquired a severe attack of "G-measles" and wobbly legs).
But you, as I recall, you sir, were often sent to the "naughty room" on Friday nights.
