Question re DC PRO X Headsets

Last year I splashed out and purchased a David Clarke PRO X headset. I've found it to be very light and comfortable with good noise attenuation. It's very small size is great in small cockpits.

It has one problem that is annoying and I'm wondering if any Pruners out there have also experienced it and have solved it. Sometimes when I encounter turbulence (usually down low near a circuit while talking to Tower or another aircraft ) the headset comes off my head. It has very low clamping pressure for comfort but losing them half way through tower instructions is disconcerting to say the least.

I've thought of attaching the headset to an ANZAC slouch hat and then cutting off the brim. I also thought of putting a chin strap on them but I feel I would just look like a very ugly Girl Guide.

If anyone has come up with better solutions please let me know.
Cheers RA
