I suspect that this will also substantially reduce the value of older CofA types at the same time, as there won't be any very good reason to own something like a C150 or PA28-140 any more, as there will be both better more reliable aeroplanes (if only the C152 and PA28-161) for flying school use, and better cheaper to run aeroplanes for private use.
