Unlucky on the failure.
As far as airlines are concerned it won't make any difference to your chances if you fail one PPL exam. It's unlikely they'd even know about it; never mind care. But even if they asked you about it then you can use it to your advantage by saying
you tried to get the balance between studying and working right and on this occassion you didn't quite manage it. Nonetheless, you learned from it and never made the same mistake again. An admission like this is more likely to improve your chances by showing you have the right attitude and self-reflection than the failure is ever likely to diminish them.
