I wouldn't hold too much expectations for HKA's training program. This company is likely to disintegrate in a few years time, it is built merely by HNA as a stepping stone so it can has easier access to the aircraft market and minor dominance in the River Delta. Do you really think HKA can use 5 A380s? All they have to do is scrub off "Hong Kong Airlines", a small swing of the spray gun and it is an HNA aircraft, hence skipping all the Chinese customs.
